Friday morning’s Spark Dance Circle

Everybody needs a safe place to lean on and to be accepted without judgement.
Through difficult times, or easier times all the same.
Allow yourself support, you don’t have to go through it alone.
Take this opportunity to discover what a dance therapy group can mean to you.

Every Friday from 10:45 to 12:00

at De Nieuwe Banier, Banierstraat 1, Rotterdam

Are you struggling with stress?
Feeling overworked and exhausted?

Allow yourself to slow down.
In this dance circle YOU can discover your own rhythm, your needs and your choices.

What we’ll do

  • We look into our movement patterns and how these are reflective of our attitude in life. Through dance and movement, we explore what other possibilities there are and create new experiences in a safe space.
  • We allow inner themes to move us (a.o. grounding, recognising and expressing your boundaries / needs, letting go of negative self-belief, self-care and allowing yourself to receive support).
  • Get the mind off the way, and reconnect with our body and feelings.
  • We also practice slowing down by mindfulness & meditation exercises, in movement as well as in stillness.

No dance experience is necessary. Your life experience is already plentiful!

Please wear comfortable clothes to move around in.
We dance barefoot or with non-slip socks.
Please bring pen & notebook to write your reflection (for yourself).

Pay-what-you-can policy: simply choose a fee that’s affordable for you
